Building a New Home
For Walk Church
So our city can walk in the freedom only Jesus brings.
Walk Church Mission
01
Living it out.
So the world walks in.
Dear Partner,
God is moving in powerful and undeniable ways in our city—and now is a moment for bold faith. A moment to build what isn’t here yet, so others can experience what we’ve found in Jesus: a life of purpose, truth, and freedom.
For me, this moment is deeply personal. I grew up in the very neighborhood where God later called me to plant WALK Church. I used to play basketball right down the street—and I can tell you: I never once got invited to church.
That all changed in college when someone invited me in—and God radically transformed my life.
That’s why we started WALK Church. To create a place where everyone is welcome. Where church isn’t just a Sunday thing—it’s a way of life. A place where real people encounter real truth and are set free by the Gospel.
Today, I believe God is calling us to take the next bold step together.
We’re building a permanent home for WALK Church—a worship space, a gym, a preschool and daycare center, a home for theological training, and a hub for ministry in the heart of our city.
Not only for us, but for those we haven’t met yet. For the kids still growing up like I did, searching for something real. For the families who need hope. For the people one invitation away from transformation.
This new space will help us live out our faith every day—with purpose and intention—so more people can walk in and discover the freedom only Jesus brings.
Let’s step forward together.
With hope and expectation,
—Pastor Heiden Ratner

Walk Church
02
Walk In Him
Where it all begins.
“Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him.”
Colossians 2:6
Las Vegas is one of the 25 largest cities in America—but has one of the fewest churches per capita. Many neighborhoods remain spiritually dry, underserved, and untouched by the hope of the Gospel. People are hungry for more. For truth. For purpose. For something that lasts. But too often, that hunger goes unmet.
WALK Church was born to change that.
As an outward-facing, people-first church, we believe in living out our faith with authenticity, boldness, and compassion—so the love of Jesus is seen and felt in everyday life.
Worship Center
At the center of this new home will be a 750-seat worship center—a sacred space for gathering, growing, and lifting up the name of Jesus. Its’ where the foundation of discipleship is laid and lives are transformed by the Gospel.
Worship Center
This worship center will serve as the heartbeat of our church—a place to encounter God’s Word, experience His presence, and be equipped to live sent.
Worship Center
This building is not about us—it’s about Jesus. And it’s about creating space for more people to walk in Him.
To reach more people, we need a space that matches the size of the mission.
Walk Church
03
Walk In Love
Where everyone is invited.
“Walk in love, as Christ loved us…”
Ephesians 5:2
Love opens doors. It sees people. Welcomes them. Meets them where they are.
That’s the heart behind WALK Church—and it’s the heart behind the space we’re building. Because when people feel loved, they’re open to more. Open to community. Open to truth. Open to Jesus.
Our city is filled with people who wouldn’t walk into a worship service… But they’ll walk onto a basketball court. They’ll walk into a community event. They’ll walk into a place that feels safe, familiar, and fun.
And that’s where the love of Jesus can meet them.
Gymnasium
This space will serve as a front door to our church the other six days a week. From open gyms to youth leagues to community events to kids camps, this multi-use space will be designed for flexibility and connection—because we believe every space is sacred when Jesus leads the way.
Multi-sport Courts
This gym isn’t just for playing games. It’s for building bridges. It’s where love invites people in-and Jesus changes everything.
Because sometimes freedom
starts with an invite.

Walk In Truth
Where foundations are formed
“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”
3 John 1:4
Truth changes lives. And in a world filled with confusion and shifting values, we believe the Church must be a place where people encounter the unchanging truth of God’s Word.
At WALK Church, we want to plant truth deep in the hearts of the next generation—and raise up leaders who are equipped to carry it forward.
This new facility will make that possible. It will be a place where children are nurtured in Christ from their earliest years. And it will be a place where future leaders are developed, discipled, and deployed for Gospel ministry in our city and beyond.
Because when people walk in truth, generations are changed.
Preschool & Daycare
A Christ-centered environment where children are seen, loved, and taught the truth of who God is.
Preschool & Daycare
It’s a space for early discipleship, where faith is formed through everyday care, play, and learning.
School of Ministry & Church Planting Hub
We envision a flexible, well-equipped space for theological training, leadership development, and hands-on ministry preparation.
“…and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
–John 8:32
Together, these spaces represent our commitment to making disciples—for the youngest in our care and the future leaders of the Church. Because the Gospel isn’t just something we believe. It’s something we build into every life that walks through our doors.

Walk Church
Walk In Freedom
Where barriers fall and lives are changed
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.”
Galatians 5:1
Freedom in Jesus isn’t abstract. It’s practical. Personal. Tangible.
And this new facility is being built to put that freedom on display—every day, for every person who walks through its doors.
Whether someone comes for a worship service, a pickup basketball game, a preschool tour, a ministry training, or a counseling appointment—this is a space where walls come down and the love of Christ meets people right where they are.
This multi-purpose facility is designed to break down barriers.
It’s built so that our neighbors, our youth, and our city feel welcome.
Seen.
Loved.
Invited to walk in.

We are building a permanent home for WALK Church so our city can walk in the freedom only Jesus brings. The new facility will be 27,805 square feet of dedicated, intentionally designed space that includes a worship center that doubles as a gymnasium, a weight room, a preschool and daycare center, ministry and church-planting training space, and offices that support ministry throughout the week. More than a building project, it is a long-term investment in discipleship, outreach, leadership development, and Gospel impact in Las Vegas.
-
God is moving in powerful ways in our city, but WALK Church's current setup limits weekday ministry, future growth, and what we can offer the community. To reach more people, we need a space that matches the size of the mission and reflects the heart of who we are—an outward-facing church built to help people walk in the freedom only Jesus brings. A permanent home will allow WALK to not only gather for worship, but to welcome neighbors through sports and community activities, nurture children in Christ, train future ministry leaders, and serve people seven days a week.
-
The facility is designed to welcome the community throughout the week, not only on Sundays. The worship center will support gathering and discipleship; the gymnasium and weight room will create accessible points of connection through open gyms, youth leagues, and community events; the preschool and daycare will nurture children in a Christ-centered environment; and the ministry training space will equip leaders and church planters for service in Las Vegas and beyond. Together, these spaces will help WALK Church build relationships, remove barriers, and create more opportunities for people to encounter Jesus.
-
The total campaign goal is $14.9 million by December 2028. We already own the land and the project is shovel-ready, so the faster the money comes in, the faster we can build.
